South Africa’s status relating to COVID danger from visitors entering the country has been moved from orange to green. This means fully vaccinated South Africans may travel to France without a test and unvaccinated South Africans can enter with a negative PCR test result done in the 72 hours prior to departure, or a negative rapid antigen test done in the 48 hours before departure
From Monday, 14 March, wearing a mask will no longer be compulsory indoors in all places where it was until then (companies, administrations and shops), except in “collective passenger transport” (planes, trains, etc.) and health establishments, said the Prime Minister. In addition, the Prime Minister announced the end of the vaccination pass, also from 14March. The health pass will however remain in force in medical establishments, such as hospitals and nursing homes.
